Russell JAG-K Introduces a New Program in their Community

The Russell City Council held their regular meeting on Tuesday, August 19, at 4:30 pm at the Council Chambers in City Hall. Multiple awards given out, new ordinances passed, and a big update about the Russell Play Park Project stick out from the meeting. 

To start the meeting, the Russell High School JAG-K program held a presentation, led by senior Macy Patterson, to introduce their Helping Hands Program. She presented the program and all its details to the council along with Police Chief Jordan Harrison representing the Police Department in their partnership. Linked  here  is an article all about the Helping Hands Program. After the presentation, Harrison was proud to present the RHS JAG-K program the Russell Police Department Award of Excellence.
